LATE BREAKING NEWS:  MDR-1 testing has been added to the SVSSC Health Clinic.
VetGen has advised that the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, Inc. (OFA) will now accept its MDR-1 testing results.  Previously, only results from the University of Washington were accepted into the OFA registry.
The cost of MDR-1 testing is normally $65.  However, SVSSC’s Discounted Rate at the 3/31/18 Health Clinic is $45.
Please use the following (updated) Health Clinic Registration Form which includes DISCOUNTED RATES for ALL THREE TESTS:

  • Dermatomyositis (DMS) –  $75   (regular price is $98)
  • Multidrug Sensitivity (MDR-1) – $45   (regular price is $65)
Should you wish to have your dog’s results published in the OFA Health Registry, stickers will be provided that can be affixed to results sent to OFA.  The cost of filing results with OFA is normally $15. However, SVSSC’s Discounted Rate for the 3/31/18 Health Clinic is $7.50.
To register, click on the following Clinic Registration Form link, print out and mail with check or money order to the address on the form.
YOU WILL NOT NEED TO BRING YOUR DOG.  You can order the tests, pick them up at the Clinic, take them home, test your dog, and send them to VetGen yourself. These rates are valid for one month following the SVSSC Health Clinic.
